Throughout The Micah Project, Eagle Brookers shared time and resources. Take a look at our goals below to see how YOU helped make a difference in the #dolovewalk challenge.
We’re partnering with deserving local and global organizations who are doing great work in their communities. One hundred percent of all donations will help fund projects for these organizations to do what is right and seek justice for those who need it.
Together, we exceeded our goal by each giving $25 (and many more) to support these organizations.
We’re partnering with Feed My Starving Children, a local nonprofit that strives to eliminate global starvation by instilling compassion in people through serving and preparing meals. With 12,500 volunteers, our goal was to pack 2.5 million meals for children all around the world.
Together, we walked humbly and gave our time by serving at the MobilePack event, Feb. 24-27.
We’re partnering with local food shelves and schools to provide children in need with Weekend Packs, filled with enough kid-friendly food to stave off hunger for two full days.
Here’s what we need (please only shop for Weekend Pack items):
- Easy Mac/Chef Boyardee Cups, Instant Soup/Ramen Noodles
- Cereal Cups or Oatmeal
- 100% Juice Boxes
- Fruit cups (i.e., peaches, pears, applesauce)
- Snack-size Crackers or Granola Bars
- Pudding Cups
Together, we can continue to love mercy and create hope in the midst of hunger by donating a Weekend Pack to local schools and food shelves. While our collection weekend is over, you can continue to donate food directly to your local food shelf. Visit eaglebrookchurch.com/hopeinhunger for a list of locations that we work with.
